Student Congress
The FGCCFL Student Congress Manual governs Congress at all FGCCFL tournaments. It contains rules of procedure, legislation drafting guidelines, and tournament tabulation protocols.
The current version of the Manual is Revision 24.08. It includes substantial changes from the previous year’s manual, including the adoption of direct questioning at all tournaments. A copy of the amendment form and table of motions may be downloaded separately for printing. A script for beginning Presiding Officers is also available.
FGCCFL has adopted the legislation templates below for use at all League tournaments. These templates are designed to eliminate the need for students to format their legislation, to provide drafting guidance, and to simplify docket assembly.
The templates may be edited in any word processor (Word, Office 365 Online, Pages, Google Docs, LibreOffice, etc.), as long as the formatting is maintained and the finished product is saved in .DOCX format for uploading to Tabroom. Please DO NOT submit PDF legislation!
